Alex Rodriguez Hits Home Run in Yankees First Spring Game
No Comments
Alex Rodriguez allegedly told one taunting fan to “Kiss My Hot Ass” during the Yankees first spring training game against the Toronto Blue Jays on Wednesday…
Just kidding – although that would have been pretty funny.
Taunting and boos aside, Alex Rodriguez had a comfortable 1st spring game against the Blue Jays. A-Rod hit a 2-run home run and walked twice in the Yankees 6-1 victory. He left the game after his walk in the 5th inning and he signed autographs for fans for about 5 minutes before departing the facilities.
In pre-game introductions and during his 1st few at-bats, the fans showered A-Rod with a mix of boos and cheers. Some fans taunted A-Rod, asking him where his cousin was and where Madonna was. This was A-Rod’s first public appearance since his admission that he took performing enhancing drugs while a member of the Texas Rangers from 2001 through 2003.
We’ll keep you posted with more A-Rod updates as the 2009 MLB season progresses.
