    Goodbye T.O.

dan-marino-and-terrell-owensThe Dallas Cowboys said goodbye to Terrell Owens on Wednesday. The pain in the ass wide receiver was reportedly shocked at the cut. Jerry Jones and his son Stephen told Ownes and his agent in personĀ  in Florida that he will no longer be with the team. Dallas paid Owens a $12 million signing bonus last years, which was part of his new four-year, $34 million deal. Dallas will now have to take a $9 million salary-cap hit with Owens being released. T.O. had issues with QB Tony Romo and tight end Jason Witten and was very critically of offensive coordinator Jason Garrett. Even with the Cowboys trying to downplay the rift between Ownes and Witten, reportedly the two came close to blows in December. Dallas was 31-17 in the three season with Owens but only 0-2 in the playoffs. In three years Owens caught 235 passes for 3,587 yards and 38 TD’s in 47 games.
