Anne V – please step up to the plate.  In our latest installment of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit models photos, we turn to Anne V to light up our day.  Anne Vyalitsyna is a dynamic, 23-year old Russian model who has had an illustrious career since the age of 15.  Anne V has appeared in Vogue, Elle, Glamour, Gloss and countless SI Swimsuit Issues.  She has also hit the runways for famous designers, including Calvin Klein, Carolina Herrera, Dolce & Gabbana, Ralph Lauren, Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs, just to name a few.  We hope Anne V keeps plugging away on the global circuit for years to come.  Not so sure about the bear one, but at least the teddy bear was muzzled.  Enjoy…

After writing about Andy Roddick and Brooklyn Decker, it got me thinking more and more about the sensational women who grace the pages of SI’s Swimsuit Issue each and every year.  That got me thinking that we should probably start giving some props to these athlete models.  The hard work that they must put in each and every day should be applauded and rewarded.  So with that in mind, we’ll continue to write about a different model over the next few weeks and post some amazing pics of these fine athletes/models/  They deserve just as much credit and publicity as Alex Rodriguez, Kobe Bryant, Lebron James and Tom Brady – don’t ya think?

We’ll start with Bar Rafaeli, the 24-year old Israeli beauty (her 24th b-day is June 4th) who began her modeling career when she was just 8 months old in a baby commercial.  Rafaeli has appeared in Elle (France); Maxim and GQ (Italy).  Rafaeli first appeared in the SI Swimsuit Issue in 2007 and was the Issue’s Cover Girl in 2009.  Bar Rafaeli has acting aspirations – what supermodel doesn’t? – and is currently linked with actor Leonardo DiCaprio.  Gotta love Bar…

Since we’ve been focusing some of our attention on attractive women tennis players in this year’s French Open in Paris, we thought it only fair to chat about some men tennis players in the French Open as well.  For the 1st time in his career, American Andy Roddick advanced to the 4th round of the French Open at Roland Garros.  Roddick had 3 straight set victories over Romain Jouan of France, Ivo Minar of the Czech Republic and Marc Gicquel of France.  But Roddick couldn’t make it 3 wins over French tennis players as he lost to Gael Monfils in straight sets yesterday.  Poor Andy.

But at least Andy has a hot wife – check out these great pics of Brooklyn Decker.  Decker is a superstar in her own right as a top global model.  Decker has appeared in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue for several years now and will likely continue to please our senses over the next few years to come…
